Pope Calls For The World To Come Together Over Coronavirus

Pope Francis called for the world to stop “all forms of war” and act as “one human family” against the Covid-19 pandemic. 
After delivering his weekly angelus, the Pope said, “the joint commitment against the pandemic can lead everyone to recognize our need to strengthen fraternal ties as members of the one human family.” Francis said he accepted an appeal from the Secretary General of the United Nations calling for a global ceasefire in light of the coronavirus crisis which “knows no borders.”
I join all those who have accepted this appeal and invite everyone to follow by stopping all forms of war, hostility and promote the creation of corridors for humanitarian aid, openness to diplomacy, attention to those who are in a situation of great vulnerability," he said.

Pope Francis also called for world leaders to be “sensitive” to the serious problem of overcrowded jails where the coronavirus could run rampant and take the “necessary measures to avoid future tragedies.
The Pope’s weekly Angelus has been streamed from inside the Vatican since early March after St. Peter’s square was closed because of the coronavirus.

Six Premier League players and staff from three different clubs test positive for Coronavirus after massive testing

The Premier League has confirmed that six people from three different clubs have tested positive for Coronavirus after the first wave were carried out within the top-flight this week.  A Premier League statement read: “The Premier League can today confirm that on Sunday 17 May and Monday 18 May, 748 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19. Of these, six have tested positive from three clubs. “Players or club staff who have tested positive will now self-isolate for a period of seven days. The Premier League is providing this aggregated information for the purposes of competition integrity and transparency. “No specific details as to clubs or individuals will be provided by the League and results will be made public in this way after each round of testing.” Clubs and individuals that tested positive for coronavirus have not been disclosed for data protection reasons. Proud single dad shows off the daughters he raised by himself after his 'cheating' wife left him with their kids and moved on with a married man

A "proud dad", who became a "single dad overnight", has shared photos of his grown daughters who he says he raised on his own after his wife left them for another man. Sharing a photo of his daughters, who are now women, he wrote: "My then wife was having an affair and left me and our girls when they were aged 7 & 4. I was a single dad overnight and brought them up on my own and held down a full time job. This pic is my favourite my girls and says a lot about them. They are now 25 & 22. They are my world." This isn't the first time the father has posted about his wife's affair that broke their family. Some months back, he tweeted: "17 years ago my then wife left me & our girls then aged 7 & 4 for the (married) guy she was having an affair with. I became a single parent overnight. I raised my girls and brought them up, on my own, for them to be the wonderful people they are today. I’m a proud dad."
